The Endless Summer

I stumbled upon The Endless Summer by accident. When I saw it available on Netflix, the only time I had heard the term Endless Summer was from Bodie in Point Break. So the concept was vaguely familiar to me; Surfers who travel around the world, changing locations with the season to always be able to catch the best waves.

The Endless Summer is a documentary (sort of) about two surfers named Michael Hynson and Robert August. They set out on a once in a lifetime journey looking for the best surf spots in the world during the North American Winter season. Their journey takes them down the coast of Africa, from Senegal to the Cape of Good Hope. Eventually they move on to Australia, New Zealand, and then completing their journey in Hawaii.
