Lincoln is your typical Academy nominee. The acting was excelent. However, it was a bit slow and the speech/dialog is from “four score and seven years ago”… I had a hard time following some of the conversations. Also, there are a lot of political jokes, so if you’re like me, you won’t catch most of them. The ones I did catch though were pretty funny. There is some language, and scenes of death. There aren’t many fighting scences from the war but they do show a couple so, if you are sensitive to blood, just know there are a couple of scences. Daniel Day-Lewis was amazing at portraying Licoln( as if I actually knew Lincoln but,..) but I have to say, Tommy Lee Jones stole the movie for me, playing Thaddeus Stevens. He is just hilarious!

Rating: 8/10 – 8 becasue the acting was great despite, being lost in conversations…
