As a consummate Bradley Cooper fan who thinks his talents far exceed his most well known role (The Hangover) let me just say that I have fallen madly in love with his character, Pat Solitano, a man trying to get his life back on track after being released from a psychiatric institute. Cooper shows a complexity in his character that’s evident just as much when he’s screaming at his parents as when he’s simply reading a letter. And complementing Cooper with equal parts contained sadness and explosive rage is Jennifer Lawrence.
